A trainee's social life can become fairly hectic so expect to see your diary filling up with lunches, balls and an array of social events. Along with our own CYP events, trainees are also encouraged to get involved with the trainee solicitor groups in their respective cities. A great way to meet other trainee solicitors these groups host a wide event programme of sporting, cultural and social events.

You will also be invited to attend corporate hospitality events with clients and may find yourself white water rafting, attending the gold cup at Cheltenham, or hosting a table at a business dinner And all in the name of strengthening client relationships!

Each office has its own social committee that plan and execute a programme of events for everyone at Cobbetts. Activities have included family fun days, a weekend trip to Berlin, cinema and theatre trips and of course the staple favourite, drinking and disco!

As well as regular lunches and Friday nights at the local bars trainees are also allocated an entertaining budget to enable all of the trainees from every office to socialise.
